British Airways is introducing no-cost high-speed onboard connectivity through satellite partnership
Passengers on this carrier can soon use quick connectivity in the air at no cost after a major partnership from Elon Musk's satellite company.
No-cost plus High-speed Connectivity Across the Board
The carrier revealed that this complimentary, “reliable and lightning-fast” wifi provision via SpaceX becomes accessible to passengers flying economy, premium economy, or first class from the coming month.
Expanded Deployment Across Various Airlines
The holding firm for British Airways, IAG, announced it had secured an agreement with SpaceX to provide wifi coverage across 500-plus planes across their airlines, such as the Irish airline, the Spanish carrier, and the low-cost airline.
Smooth Connectivity starting at Boarding to Landing
BA explained that the introduction for this service was part of a £7bn “transformation” initiative and would provide lag-free wifi access for flyers from the gate through landing, including when in flight over oceans or isolated areas.
Travelers can hook up multiple gadgets and they will not need a separate password.

Current Wifi Offerings
Basic internet access is currently available to BA travelers through the majority of its aircraft via their .air service.
Enrollees of the airline's loyalty club are able to dispatch messages and text-only emails during flights without paying, whereas flyers who want to watch audio, movies, and movies throughout their flight if not travelling in first class can expect to be charged from four pounds ninety-nine to £21.99 for a connectivity package.
