Prince William Plans to Join UN Climate Conference in Brazil
The Prince of Wales will represent the COP30 climate summit in South America during November, as announced by palace sources.
Prince William and King Charles made a joint appearance on Thursday evening at a event preceding the environmental conference, which is planned for in the northern Brazilian city of Belem.
Father and son were participating in the museum gathering, marking an rare public appearance together at a environmental conference preliminary meeting co-hosted by the UK government.
Environmental Advocacy Commitment
King Charles has been a consistent supporter of environmental conservation - and the Prince of Wales has inherited the mission, with his own Earthshot awards, which will be held in Brazil ahead of the climate conference.
Official representatives have portrayed the Prince's participation at the forthcoming conference as stepping up an crucial position in "global climate discussions".
Previous Activities
The monarch and his heir, making a joint entrance in the official car, were greeted participants featuring environmentalists, scientists, environmental activists, foreign representatives and politicians.
This engagement involved presentations alongside President Emmanuel Macron of France and other global statesmen at the Blue Economy and Finance Forum in the Principality of Monaco in recent months.

The UN meeting will coincide with the the royal's sustainability recognition program, which will finish in the Brazilian city the eve of he participates in the COP summit on the sixth of November.
Last week the royal figure referred to the Earthshot finalists as "modern-day pioneers".
Royal Climate Legacy
The monarch has been a key figure at previous climate summits, providing the introductory remarks in Dubai for COP28, including the statement: "Our responsibility is to protect the world we inhabit".
"Throughout my life I've dedicated a significant amount of my life trying to warn of the existential threats challenging our world over planetary heating, environmental shifts and biodiversity loss," the monarch informed participants.
